The Stache Grynder is made to be the last metal herb grinder you will ever need. The Grynder is rich with innovative changes made with the average consumer in mind. Dry herbs today tend to be richer in terpenes and denser in structure, much different from a century ago when the first herb grinders were popularized. Old designs cause friction and buildup of various plant materials, leading to a loss in quality of the dry herb before it can be consumed. The Stache Grynder is designed to mitigate all of these issues with its innovative design that features:
- Micro rounded-teeth
- Beveled Edges
- Anodized Aluminum Make
- Pollen Shovel and Brush
Micro-Rounded Teeth
Most metal herb grinders today have sharp teeth that are rigid and are made to “shred” dry herbs into a material that can be easily manipulated and smoked or vaped. This stems from the original designs that were made to cut through stems and fully grind dry herbs into a consistency that allowed for rolling and packing. This is no longer necessary for a majority of dry herbs available today! The Grynder’s small, rounded teeth are designed to separate and grind fluffy and sometimes sticky dry herbs into a usable material, all without stripping any of the quality from the dry herb.
Beveled Edges
Most metal herb grinders are designed with flat edges in the interior, allowing for buildup of plant matter in corners, leading to grinders getting stuck. Not only does it make using the grinder more difficult, it is stealing the quality of your dry herb as terpenes and other compounds are gathered in the edges rather than sticking to the ground material. The Stache Grynder has rounded edges all-throughout the interior. This means that the already reduced amount of stripped plant material and beneficial compounds are naturally funneling into the bottom chamber! There are no right-angles for dry herb to collect.
Anodized Aluminum Make
Not only the design, but the make of a grinder is important as well! Some metal grinders are made of unreliable materials that can deteriorate. This means that not only do they not function as well after some time, they can also deposit cheap metals into the ground herb if not properly cleaned and maintained. The Stache Grynder is made of anodized aluminum which is comparable to stainless steel! Metal herb grinders made of stainless steel and anodized aluminum are more reliable and won’t wear out when being used for dry herbs.
5 Through 3 Piece Designs
As different consumers have different needs and preferences, the Grynder is not limited to only one design! Every Grynder model offers the same features listed above, but there are currently 3 different styles available, each offering its own benefits and meeting what we understand to be common preferences among users.
4-Piece Model
The 4-Piece Grynder model hosts an ash-tray/ground herb storage as many have come to use it. Rather than a re-sealable storage compartment, there is the same amount of space in an open-topped basin. The 4-piece model has a pollen screen that is common for many 4-piece dry herb grinders on the market. Though there is reduced pollen being stripped from the dry herb thanks to the Grynder’s innovative design, the small percentage that is still affected can be easily collected into the pollen chamber thanks to the beveled edges and pollen screen
Pollen Shovel and Brush
Each Grynder unit comes complete with a pollen shovel to easily handle any collected pollen in the 4-piece and 5-piece models. The accompanying pollen brush is perfect for clearing any extra sticky trichomes and pollen that may be caught on the interior of your unit. Regularly doing maintenance to keep your metal herb grinder clear is common practice if you want to maintain the quality of your grind.
